Nairobi, Kajiado and Kiambu counties are predominantly urban setting and have been reported high rates of Covid 19, at the same time political tensions. This state of affairs coupled with the launch of BBI report may either exacerbate or raise tensions because of the contents. Peace Committees and other community based structures have continued to support awareness and community led dialogues at the grass roots level albeit the voluntary approach. As such, in some counties these structures have weakened warranting the need to revitalize and strengthen their capacity.

It is in this regard, that NSC/PBCM Directorate seeks to roll out capacity building programmes and sensitization forums to revitalize these structures.
